The Spring General meeting was held on May 16th. Unfortunatly the rain prevented any bowling but a fun afternoon was held.

Loretta Bell was the winner of the lucky 'balloon pop' to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the club.
This particular fun day was to be our first "All About Color" day. Little did the executive realize that the members would take this suggestion to a whole new level.
As each member entered the club house it was one fit of laughter after another.
Different colored shoes, miss matched socks, stylish hats, brilliant colored tops and bottoms that were not coordinated were all part of the style for the day.
The humorous part of the day was that we served tea and dainty sandwiches and cookies (high tea) and we all looked like we had just come from the clown festival.
Despite all the vibrant "color" on the green it did not take away the fact that we had some excellent bowling all day.

FALL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.Tuesday Sept 25th 07.
We bowled at 3:00 P.M. with games of ELIMINATION BOWLS, where the bowl most distant from the jack is eliminated. The winner is the one whose bowl remains after all others have been eliminated.
The Spaghetti supper provided by Pauline and others was excellent and put us in a suitable mood for the serious business of the day which was THE A.G.M.
During the meeting, after all the business had been concluded Pauline announced that the winner of the Warren Hill shield for the most improved player in 2007.
SUMMER JITNEY AWARDS.
A record of the winning and losing results of each Tuesday and Thursday Jitneys through out the season were recorded. We gave 3 points for a win, 2 points each for a draw and 1 point for a loss.
